my story...

As a relational therapist specializing in work with children and adolescents, I believe that healing and growth emerge within the context of a compassionate, collaborative, and trusting relationship. My approach is client-centered, recognizing that each person is unique, with their own strengths, needs, and experiences. I create a warm and nonjudgmental space where people feel safe to express themselves, explore their feelings, and process their emotions in ways that feel authentic to them.

I take a holistic approach to therapy, understanding that emotional, physical, and relational aspects of a person’s life are deeply interconnected. By integrating Somatic Experiencing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Polyvagal Theory, Parts theory, and Attachment Theory, I help people regulate their nervous system, address trauma, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

For children, I incorporate play interventions as a powerful tool for expression and healing. Play allows children to process complex emotions, practice new coping skills, and make sense of their world in a safe and engaging way. Through this therapeutic play, children can develop healthier attachment patterns, increase emotional resilience, heal from past traumas, and improve their ability to navigate challenges.

Together, we will work to create a space where your child can feel seen, heard, and supported, while developing the tools needed  to thrive emotionally and relationally. My goal is to empower you or your child to feel more connected to themselves, their body, and the world around them, fostering a deeper sense of security, joy, and well-being.
